Dasuram Charitable Trust (DCT) is a non-profit, non-government organization founded and officially registered in 2007. The primary goal of DCT is to provide financial help to the economically disabled students who excel in academics and have a strong desire in pursuing higher education, with no bar on their caste, religion or gender. To date, the Trust has awarded (0) scholarships for students under the Educational Scholarship Program.

We are also believers of the fact that, the prosperity of India lies in the well being of our 700,000+ villages. As you know, we have so many things that we can do for the poor in our villages. Hence, DCT started a Community Development Program.

There are many
NGOs already working towards the rural transformation. DCT is trying to tie up with some of them to inherit the proven ideas and concepts and apply them to the villages that we will be concentrating on.

Please visit our FAQ section to learn more about DCT.

Scope of Operation

Due to the funding constraints, currently we operate at the district level (Vizainagaram Dt. and Visakhapatnam Dt. in Andhra Pradesh, INDIA), which means we accept applications from the students of this districts and sponsor the selected ones. However, there have been instances when we did sponsor students from other regions as well in exceptional cases since we believe that the candidate's eligibility (Poorest of the Poor with Academic Excellency) overrides the region he/she belongs to.
